Love And Respect Animals

Every year, many animals around the world suffer from animal cruelty when providing companionship or being used for sport, recreation, transportation, scientific research, or as exotic pets. These animal abuse and cruelty events often lead to serious mental and physical injuries and death of the animals. Animal cruelty can happen anywhere, in rural or urban areas, inside or outside a household. Without actively stopping and preventing animal cruelty, more and more animals will suffer from abuse.

At Charitocracy, we believe that all animals deserve to be taken care of with love and attention and to live a good life. According to the definition of animal welfare, animals should have access to clean food and water, be provided with good health, a positive mental state, engaging surroundings, and an environment that enables comfort. Each month, Charitocracy and our amazing donors hand select animal charities that are devoted to protecting and providing better lives for various animals, from domestic pets to wildlife. By the end of the month, through voting we select one charity out of all the nominated charities from all 12 categories to which we donate our monthly pooled donations. Chances are, causes you care about will win Charitocracy's monthly grant!

Take a look at the list below of animal charities that have won our monthly pot in the past. Then check out the current animal charity nominees (or all nominees) for this month's voting. Are we missing one you'd like to win? Join us and nominate your favorite animal charity to add to our voting list!
